Pay & Go is a new feature within the My 7-Eleven app to help you skip the queue when shopping in-store or when filling up fuel at a participating 7-Eleven store. List of participating stores can be found on the app. All you have to do is download the My 7-Eleven app and activate Pay & Go by following the registration steps.

Fuel Up

When you visit a participating 7-Eleven fuel store, open the app, select Pay & Go Fuel Up, follow the prompts, hit pay, fill up and you’re good to go. No need to line up at the counter. Fuel Up cannot be used for motorcycle refuelling. A temporary hold equal to the fill amount will be applied against your payment card.

Shop in-store

Pay & Go is an exciting new feature of the My 7-Eleven app which allows mobile self-checkout purchases at participating 7-Eleven stores.  The Fuel Up feature of Pay & Go allows you to pay for fuel directly via the app at participating stores.

No, Fuel Up is part of the My 7-Eleven app and can be found on the Pay & Go Tab.

Yes, if you have an activated Fuel Lock, it will be automatically applied to your transaction. No need to go into the store to scan your My Card.

You can use the store locator in the app to find a participating store nearest to your current location. Look out for stores that are tagged with Pay & Go.

Some items in our stores, like Slurpee, Krispy Kreme, coffee, fruit & veg and bakery don’t have barcodes. So that you can enjoy Pay & Go when purchasing these products you’ll find stickers, signs and shelf tickets near these products with a barcode for you to scan in the App. If you can’t find a barcode for any product, please head to the counter to enquire or to pay.

  • You will receive a confirmation that your purchase has been finalised in the App.
  • For fuel purchases please check for the ‘Thank you’ page when you return in your vehicle before leaving the store. 
  • If payment is not processed successfully, you will receive an ‘Error’ notification.
  • We will send a receipt for the transaction to the email address you registered in the App.

Pay & Go powered by Grabango is a trial with new technology that will make the checkout experience faster and easier than ever before. It builds on our existing Pay & Go experience and makes merchandise shopping even better.

Pay & Go uses the Grabango camera technology to keep track of your movements around the store and the items you pick up and put down. Biometric or facial recognition functionality that is NOT utilised as part of the technology.

We don’t use any facial recognition or biometric data and we don’t use the information to identify you across visits.

When you enter a Grabango Store you can select the instore products that you wish to purchase.  The Grabango system will keep track of the items that you pick up and put down. When you’re ready to check out, simply pay for your items at the Pay Station by:


  1. using the App: Open the App, click on the ‘Shop-instore’ tab on the Pay & Go homepage which will prompt you to select your Eligible Card for payment. Then click on ‘Generate QR Code” and scan the QR code; or

  2. scanning your credit or debit card. You can choose whether to receive no receipt or to have the receipt sent to you by email or text by following the prompts on the Pay Station screen. 


A Pre-Authorisation Hold of $10 will be taken from your payment method and you will receive notification either via the App or the Pay Station screen that you can exit the Store. 


If a red light presents on the Pay Station screen or an error message ‘Unable to authorise your payment’ appears on the screen or in the App, please follow the instructions in the error message displayed in the App or on the Pay Station screen or pay at the counter.

Not all instore products can be purchased using Pay & Go for example tobacco and transport tickets. Full list of excluded products is available at the counter and on our website.

Once payment is processed (which may take up to 90 minutes) a digital receipt will be sent to you via:

  1. email to the email address you used to set up your 7-Eleven Account, if you paid using the App; or 
  2. via email or text if you paid using a credit or debit card and requested a receipt. 


Please note that receipts will be generated by and sent to you by our service provider Grabango and not 7-Eleven.
